Nerd Clock Widget is for both the modern geek and historic nerd. Display the time in Binary, Octal, Hexadecimal, or in the normal boring decimal format. Also has a retro style digital clock. For those historians, show the time in Cuneiform, Hieroglyphics, Olmec, or Roman numerals. Added Resistor Color Code clock for engineers. Displays in 12 or 24 hour format. Nerd Clock has sound option with 6 different chimes, including a voice time announcement. App is designed to keep battery usage to a minimum, and sounds work in consideration of other phone settings, such as ring level, vibrate, or silent. Chiming skipped automatically if device is on a call or playing music. App has been tested on many popular phones and does work on tablet devices. Widget can be installed to multiple screens, each with their own clock settings (such as Binary on one screen and Cuneiform on another). NOTE: Device must have an active lock screen in order for app to work properly. This doesn’t mean that a device password or other security must be set. Nearly all newer devices have a lock screen.

Tap the clock display to show the settings and make changes as needed. See web site for more details.

Nerd Clock Widget is now a FREE app. The Demo version has been unpublished.

Nerd Clock Widget has NO ADS or in-app purchases, and NEVER requests any sensitive device data.

KNOWN ISSUES: Nerd Clock may cause audio recording apps (such as Voice Recorder) to stop recording when the chimes trigger. Turning off the chimes while recording will prevent this.
